CESAER elections 2025: Introducing candidates for President and Directors

Eleven candidates standing for elections 2025 present themselves and share their vision for the future of our association.

We are pleased to present the candidates standing for election during the General Assembly at the CESAER Annual Meetings 2025, hosted by Brno University of Technology from 22 to 24 October 2025.

The Selection Advisory Committee (SAC) 2025 issued an open invitation for nominations and expressions of interest, and actively engaged the membership to identify qualified and motivated leaders to guide our association forward.

    About the Selection Advisory Committee 2025

    The SAC 2025 led the search mission and prepared the list of candidates for the General Assembly:

    • Anna Steiger, Member – Chancellor, University of Stuttgart

    • Stefan Bengtsson, Member – Former President, Chalmers University of Technology

    • Mattias Björnmalm, Secretary – Secretary General, CESAER
