Our Members recognised in THE Impact Rankings 2022

The 2022 edition of THE Impact Rankings have been published, showcasing how universities measure up against achieving the UN sustainable development goals, with our Members featuring prominently.

The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022 were released on 27 April, with several of our Members recognised.

Assessing universities against the UN sustainable development goals, this fourth edition comprises 1,406 universities from 106 countries/regions.

We congratulate our Members in the top 100 overall ranking, including Aalborg University (31), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (42), and Politecnico di Milano (98).

Under the Impact Rankings for industry, innovation, and infrastructure, our Members once again feature prominently, with the University of Twente in first place and Delft University of Technology in fifth place. Also in the top 100 are Institut Polytechnique de Paris (16), Politecnico di Milano (18), University of Strathclyde (39), University College Dublin (47), NOVA University of Lisbon (69), TU Dresden (72), University of Surrey (82), and Riga Technical University (94).

Recalling that sustainability is an essential topic for our association, we take this opportunity to congratulate all of our Members on their continued efforts towards achieving the UN SDGs, and recall that our Task Force Sustainability is always ready to support Members in advancing their contributions to knowledge societies for a sustainable future.
