On 3 May, the EIC Board issued its statement on the revision of the EIC IP provisions following concerns highlighted by stakeholder organisations including through our association’s position ‘Advancing innovation and knowledge valorisation from European Innovation Council’.
Our Advisor for Innovation & Sustainability, Louise Drogoul said:
“We are glad to see our advocacy efforts contributing to the changes needed and warmly welcome that the EIC Board has taken onboard the recommendations provided.
“This was largely possible thanks to the work of our Task Force Innovation combined with a joint effort with other like minded networks and organisations. The next phase will now be crucial for changes to be implemented as the European Commission will review the EIC recommendations and decide on their translation into amendments to the next EIC work programme.
“We stand ready to provide our full support in this endeavor.”
