Tim Bedford, Katharina Füglister and Ena Voûte appointed CESAER Vice Presidents 2026-2027

On 10 December 2025, our Board appointed Tim Bedford (University of Strathclyde) as first Vice President, Katharina Füglister (EPFL) appointed as second Vice President and Ena Voûte (Delft University of Technology) as third Vice President and Treasurer.

On 10 December 2025, our Board appointed Tim Bedford, Katharina Füglister and Ena Voûte upon a formal nomination by President Orla Feely. The President and the three Vice Presidents will constitute the Presidency of our association from 2026 to 2027, with the Secretary General acting as its Secretary.

Tim is an Associate Principal Research & Knowledge Exchange at the University of Strathclyde. In October 2023, he was re-elected as a Director for the period of 2024-2027. He is also co-chairing our Task Force Innovation. He was appointed as first Vice President.

Katharina is the Director of International Affairs at EPFL in Switzerland. In October 2023, she was re-elected as a Director for the period of 2024-2027. She was a member of Task Force Openness of Science & Technology 2024 - 2025. She was appointed as second Vice President.

Ena is Pro Vice Rector International Affairs at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and was member of our Task Force Human Resources 2024-2025. She was appointed as third Vice President and Treasurer.

Appointed from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2027, the Vice Presidents support the President and act as deputies when required.

The Presidency, together with the Secretariat, is responsible for the ongoing affairs of our association and the preparation and implementation of the decisions by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.
